 The purpose of this residents’ card is to ensure easy identification of residents while also leveraging valuable data for financial inclusion/transaction, planning, security, social welfare, employment, financial services, housing, demography, education, health, and
other related areas.

The resident card is an incorporation of unique identifiers such as the national identification number, residence number, biometrics, and Aztec code. This highly secured and robust card is expected to infuse within it a wallet account or tier 1 account that can also serve as a means for interacting with all residents-facing MDAs of the state by accessing social services and an effective means of identification. verification of identity.

Features of the Card

Persons Eligible for the Kaduna State Resident Card

Every citizen of Nigeria who resides in Kaduna State, 18 years and above, and has stayed for a minimum of six(6) months or a citizen of Nigeria who intends to reside in Kaduna State for some time.

How to Apply for the Resident Card

Pre-application Check:

  1.  Are you 18 years and above?
  2.  Do you have a verifiable Kaduna State Address?
  3.  Is the Address on your NIN a Kaduna State address?
  4.  Is the Name/Address/ Date of Birth same with your NIN details?
